When fire danger, smoke or noise rules out fireworks, a drone light show keeps the celebration. Nothing burns, nothing falls, and the sky can spell your message.

|---|---|---|
| Fire risk | None from the show itself (LED lights only) | Sparks and hot debris; restricted or cancelled in high fire danger |
| Noise | Soft hum | Loud bangs that upset pets, horses and wildlife |
| Smoke & debris | None | Smoke over the crowd; debris to clean up |
| Custom shapes & text | Yes: names, logos, QR codes, animation | Very limited |
| Weather limits | High wind and rain | Wind and fire restrictions |
| Reusable | Yes, the same drones fly again | No, single use |
Laser shows, projection mapping and LED displays are also fire-safe. Drones are the only one that fills the open sky over a crowd the way fireworks do, which is why cities like Flagstaff have switched.

Every show gets a written quote, because the date, location, length, design work and permits all change the price. These public numbers give a sense of the range. They are other operators' prices and industry averages, not Monsoon Drones quotes.

Rough guide only: smaller private shows (25–100 drones) cost less in total but more per drone, because setup, crew and design costs are spread over fewer aircraft. Ask us for a real number for your date.
A drone show has no pyrotechnics, so fire restrictions on fireworks don't apply to it in the same way. Airspace, permit and venue rules still apply, and we check them for every show.
Often, yes, for the same size of event; reported city drone shows commonly cost tens of thousands of dollars. They avoid fire risk, are reusable, and can carry sponsor logos to offset the cost.
Shows are flown over a cleared area set back from the audience, with pre-flight checks on every aircraft and geofencing that keeps the swarm inside its show box. Wind and rain limits are agreed in advance.
Yes. Flying many drones from one controller needs an FAA waiver on top of the Part 107 commercial pilot certificate. Monsoon Drones is working through that process now, and we will tell you plainly what applies to your date and site.
Drones cannot fly safely in high wind or rain. We watch the forecast with you and agree a backup plan, such as a rain date, before the show.
