We live here. Monsoon Drones is a father-and-son team from the Cave Creek and North Phoenix area, building a drone light show company for the desert we know.
Request a quote See example showsCave Creek's famous July 3rd fireworks at Harold's Corral were cancelled for fire danger in 2018 and 2021, and 2025 listings said "no fireworks due to extreme fire danger." Dry brush, wind off the washes and saguaro-covered hills make pyrotechnics a real wildfire risk here. Drones carry LED lights only, so the show can go on when fire restrictions are in place.
Saguaros, a desert sunset, a horse and rider, a town name or a couple's initials, all drawn in light over the hills. Shows run from about 25 drones for a ranch wedding up to a few hundred for a town celebration.
The Town of Cave Creek's fireworks page asks for $1M general liability plus $5M excess insurance naming the town (cavecreekaz.gov). Whether the town applies the same rule to drone shows is something we are confirming with the town directly. We'll handle that conversation for your event.

Every show gets a written quote, because the date, location, length, design work and permits all change the price. These public numbers give a sense of the range. They are other operators' prices and industry averages, not Monsoon Drones quotes.

Rough guide only: smaller private shows (25–100 drones) cost less in total but more per drone, because setup, crew and design costs are spread over fewer aircraft. Ask us for a real number for your date.
Yes. Cave Creek, Carefree, Anthem, Desert Hills, New River and North Phoenix are our home area.
Often, yes. Open land with a clear launch area and a safe distance from guests works well. We check the airspace first.
Shows are flown over a cleared area set back from the audience, with pre-flight checks on every aircraft and geofencing that keeps the swarm inside its show box. Wind and rain limits are agreed in advance.
Yes. Flying many drones from one controller needs an FAA waiver on top of the Part 107 commercial pilot certificate. Monsoon Drones is working through that process now, and we will tell you plainly what applies to your date and site.
Drones cannot fly safely in high wind or rain. We watch the forecast with you and agree a backup plan, such as a rain date, before the show.
